"My daughter Maya was approaching the end of her junior year of high school and had been focused on the college recruitment process for the previous twelve months. To say she was stretched thin would be a huge understatement; juggling an AP class schedule, team trainings, GK trainings, club game schedule, ID camps, and showcases all while researching colleges, their soccer programs, and contacting collegiate coaches. As her biggest fan I would encourage and support her the best I could, but there was always a feeling of doubt and insecurity since we had no experience in this process!
